Learning outcomes

The Learning Intentions:

We are learning to use our school's Inquiry model to research about Change in our community.

The Inquiry model is simply put "GET IT, SORT IT, USE IT".

• GET IT - involves the gathering of information to answer your big questions.

• SORT IT - is the sorting of information using key words, the note making and summarising of data.

• USE IT - this part is the presentation of research to an audience.

We had been using this model of Inquiry throughout the year and this was the opportunity for the students to present their findings to a real and wide-reaching audience.
