Research process

1. What were we trying to find out?

We were trying to find out what we needed to do to care for our stream. We started our action research process by developing our key questions.

2. Our initial key questions were:

• What does our stream need?
• How/where can we find this information?
• What will we need?
• How can we let people know about what we are doing and that we are seeking help?

3. Our key information sources were:

• The Wellington Regional Council, both their website and their publications
• Mr Rob Cross, Kāpiti Coast District Council's biodiversity officer.
