Our School Taonga: Our Motto-Deeds not Words
Our brilliant attitude towards life is influenced by our school motto: 'Deeds Not Words' which has been passed down through the years. The motto has never disappointed anyone, as it leads us. It is never forgotten. What you do in life is louder than words. By Alex
Photo shows the motto 'Deeds not words' set in stone above the entrance to the old school. Photo taken circa 1926-27.
The school motto appears on our notepaper today as it did in 1938 when a testimonial was written for a student leaving the school.
