A History of Waerenga-O-Kuri by Eleanor Hall, published 2009.

Our class would like to thank Mrs Hall for giving the class permission to use some of the photos from her book. She also gave us some original photos and newspaper clippings about Cyclone Bola, the store and the district. The book launch took place in the local hall, being attended by hundreds of people from around the district and by people who had moved away but came back to be part of an important historic event.

Waerenga-O-Kuri Pehiri Schools District Centennial Jubilee 1888-1988.

Our families. Some of our mums and dads, aunties and uncles went to Waerenga-O-Kuri School as pupils and were able to tell us about school in their day. Some gave us a copy of the Jubilee booklet for research purposes.
