What is special about the tree?

It is a landmark because it can be seen from a long way away.

The city council looks after the tree because it is so special. It is a heritage tree so it is protected.

The tree is too big so they have to get a radar to measure it. The planes from the airport have to be careful not to crash into the tree.

Soon the city council will put a plaque on the tree.
