Holy Cross reflections in Miramar
Holy Cross School, Miramar - Primary
Room 8 is made up of Year 5 & Year 6 students who have been learning how to use mediation as a form of prayer. A peaceful quiet activity generated a lot of interest from all sorts of people. Why was this? Our journey of inquiry and discovery began. We asked the questions, "What is special about our school that allows us to use prayer through meditation? What is the relationship between our school, our Catholic community, Holy Cross Parish and Miramar?" Reflecting on our past has helped us to understand who we are today and the special place that meditation has in our lives.
