A: They created Salmon Tales because they thought it would be a tourist attraction and it is also a great place to have dinner.
Salmon Tales is a restaurant located in Rakaia beside the big fish. Salmon Tales has a pond out the left hand side and a souvenir shop in the back. Salmon Tales is also great for locals.

A: To show what the Rakaia River is famous for. The salmon fishing at Rakaia is a tourist attraction. Tourists go fly fishing on the Rakaia to catch the famously large salmon that swim there. Locals also enjoy fishing there.
