Next to our school in Featherston is a museum. It is called the ‘Fell Locomotive Museum’. Inside is the world’s only Fell locomotive and a Fell brake van too.

This term, our class decided to visit the museum and take a look inside. There we found out the story of the Fell engine and its journey over the Rimutaka Hill a long time ago.

Back in our classroom we talked and discovered more, shared our ideas, made pictures and this story of the history of our Fell engine.
