Taro facts
Taro is a plant with wide green leaves that has veins that take in food from the sun. There is a soft, smooth stalk that connects the leaves to the taro root.
At the bottom (the main root) it looks like a coconut, and the smaller roots that look like hair take up water and minerals from the soil.
