    Students from Central School in New Plymouth researched the history of Koru Pa in the Oakura area. The pa was built by the Mahanga Taiiru hapu of the Taranaki iwi around 1,000AD and abandoned in the 1820s.

    Makara Model School students created a website about a visit from local author, Ruth Paul, who launched her book, 'The Little White Lie', in the Grand Hall in parliament. The school was invited to take pictures and film the big event. Includes information about Ruth Paul - her life and her book - and a short video of an interview with Ruth Paul and the book launch event.
